Description: Get started on social media: how to use Twitter, FriendFeed, Facebook, Flickr, etc. the smart way, for social networking, science collaborating, to find other scientists there and interact. Then use these tools over the next two days to connect with others at the conference, to report from the conference and expand your circle of online scientific friends.
All you need is to bring yourself and your laptop.
Make sure to have accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Friendfeed. If not, prior to workshop, I’ll help you create one.
