Hello, everyone. I am really delighted beyond measure to get the chance to attend ScienceOnline2010 and be blessed with opportunity to meet the movers and shakers of Open Science and learn, learn, learn about this truly revolutionary movement. I have read about people like Jean-Claude Bradley, Cameron Neylon, Dorothea Salo, Deepak Singh, John Dupuis, Peter Binfield, Jonathan Eisen and Antony Williams and now I will finally meet them. Wow! Whoa! Neat! Thank you, Bora and Anton, for all your hard work on this important endeavor.

We are really proud of ScanGrants and hope it is proving a big help to scientists, medical people and students trying to find scholarships so that they can become scientists and medical people, too. The key thing to know is that use of ScanGrants is free and that ScanGrants is subscribable via email and RSS. You can subscribe to the main feed or by category.

I would think that the most useful categories in ScanGrants for attendees of ScienceOnline2010 would be Basic Science, Clinical Research and Fellowships. But please feel free to click around elsewhere in ScanGrants.

Please remember to click on the link to the actual announcement from the actual grantor. ScanGrants is a listing and gateway—the grantors are the ones who make the actual awards.

We do our best to list what we can vis-à-vis funding in the health sciences and welcome announcements from anyone offering such funding opportunities so that we can list them on ScanGrants. This is a win, win, and win for everyone— for researchers, students and grantors. Here’s to the widest possible dissemination of grant and scholarships news!
